Service policies

Clear Expectations For Website Projects And Ongoing Care.

These policies explain how Red Vision Host scopes projects, handles support, and keeps a managed website moving after launch.

Website projects

Scope, Revisions, And Timing.

Revision Rounds

Starter Website includes one revision round. Business Website includes two. Custom Website revisions are defined in the proposal. A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback submitted after reviewing the current website version.

Out-Of-Scope Work

Additional revisions or work outside the agreed scope may be billed at $75/hour. Extensive original copywriting, research, interviews, substantial new content, and custom functionality may require an additional quote.

Project Timelines And Client Delays

Published timelines are estimates, not guaranteed completion dates. Timing begins after required client materials are received. Delays caused by missing content, images, approvals, or feedback pause the project and may require rescheduling around other active work.

Design Direction

Website packages include one primary design direction based on the business, existing branding, client preferences, target customers, industry conventions, and examples supplied by the client. Multiple unrelated full-site design concepts are not included unless quoted.

Managed services

Support And Included Update Time.

Managed Support

Managed Website Services include support for Red Vision Host-managed website services, including website issues, hosting, SSL, domain configuration, website forms, and managed services. General computer, printer, device, software, or unrelated IT support is not included.

Response Expectations

The normal response target is within one business day. Critical website outages should be prioritized. Managed Website Services do not constitute 24/7 enterprise support.

Included Routine Updates

Managed Website Care includes up to 30 minutes of routine content updates per month. Care + Local SEO includes up to 60 minutes per month of website and local SEO optimization work. Unused update or optimization time does not roll over.

What Included Time Does Not Cover

New page design, major redesigns, new functionality, custom programming, major SEO projects, complete content rewrites, and branding redesign are outside the included maintenance scope. Work may be quoted separately or billed at $75/hour.

SEO Expectations

Care + Local SEO includes ongoing optimization and reporting. Red Vision Host does not guarantee specific search-engine rankings or placement.

Payment & launch

Project Payment Before Production Launch.

Starter And Business Website

Starter Website and Business Website projects use a 50% deposit to begin and a remaining 50% payment before production launch. The Starter Website deposit is $397.50 and the remaining payment is $397.50. The Business Website deposit is $647.50 and the remaining payment is $647.50.

Custom Website

Custom Website projects normally use a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance or milestone payments defined in the proposal.

Launch Requirement

No production website launch occurs until the required project balance has been paid. Managed Website Services are available separately after the website launches.

Ownership & portability

Your Website, With A Reusable Foundation Behind It.

Client Ownership

After a website project is paid in full, the client owns their website content, supplied assets, and the completed custom website created for their business.

Red Vision Host Reusable Work

Red Vision Host retains ownership of reusable development frameworks, starter-kit components, internal tooling, generalized code, build and deployment systems, and reusable development processes. Third-party assets remain subject to their licenses.

Portability

Red Vision Host websites are optimized for the Red Vision Host managed hosting platform, but clients are not required to remain indefinitely. If an account is paid in full, Red Vision Host can provide portable static website files where technically applicable. Third-party services, licenses, domains, email systems, and integrations remain subject to their providers and terms.
