Terms of Service

These terms explain the customer relationship for Red Vision Host services. Read them with any applicable proposal, order, invoice, or service description.

Effective: October 31, 2026

1–4

Agreement, Services, Payment, and Ownership

1. Agreement and Scope

Red Vision Host is operated by Red Vision Strategies. By using, ordering, or purchasing a Red Vision Host service, you agree to these Terms of Service. A written proposal, order, invoice, or service description may add project-specific details; where a project-specific document conflicts with these terms, that document controls for the described project or service.

2. Services

Services may include website design, managed website care, hosting-related services where applicable, domain registration, renewal and transfer, support, and third-party services used to provide them. Availability, configuration, and scope depend on the service selected and applicable provider rules. Red Vision Host does not promise particular uptime, response times, performance, security outcomes, SEO rankings, or domain availability unless separately agreed in writing.

3. Website Design Payment

A 50% down payment is required to begin a website-design project. Once work on the project has begun, the initial 50% payment is non-refundable. The remaining 50% is due before launch. A website will not be launched until the required final payment has been received.

4. Website Ownership

After full payment, the client owns the completed website and client-specific deliverables created for that project. Red Vision Host and Red Vision Strategies retain ownership of reusable and pre-existing tooling, templates, frameworks, libraries, starter kits, development processes, components, and other general-purpose materials used to produce the website. The client receives the rights needed to use the completed website without acquiring ownership of that underlying reusable toolkit. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their respective licenses.

Customer Responsibilities and Recurring Services

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and content, having the rights needed to provide any material supplied to Red Vision Host, giving reasonably timely approvals and information, maintaining accurate account and contact information, and using services lawfully. Significant delays caused by missing client content, information, feedback, or approvals may affect the project schedule and availability. If a project remains inactive for an extended period because required client materials or approvals have not been provided, Red Vision Host may require the project to be rescheduled before work resumes.

6. Recurring Services

Monthly and annual recurring plans may be canceled at any time. Cancellation prevents the next renewal but does not terminate an already-paid service period early. Service continues through the end of the paid billing period, and there are no prorated refunds for unused portions of monthly or annual billing periods.

7. Failed or Overdue Payments

Red Vision Host may suspend recurring services following failed or overdue payment and may terminate service after reasonable notice. Restoration may depend on payment of outstanding balances and continued service availability.

8–10

Domains, Third-Party Services, and Acceptable Use

8. Domains

Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are non-refundable once processed. Registration and transfer depend on domain availability and registrar and registry rules. Customers are responsible for accurate registration and contact information and for timely renewal. Expiration, redemption, restoration, and related fees are governed in part by registrar and registry rules and may involve additional charges. Red Vision Host currently uses third-party registrar infrastructure. Customers do not have to transfer an existing domain to Red Vision Host to use website or hosting services.

9. Third-Party Services

Services may depend on third-party providers, including payment processors, registrars, hosting or infrastructure providers, and other software or services. Red Vision Host does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party services and is not responsible for third-party provider policies, acts, omissions, or service interruptions outside Red Vision Host’s reasonable control.

10. Acceptable Use

Services may not be used for unlawful, abusive, malicious, deceptive, or rights-infringing activity. This includes activity that harms systems, interferes with other users, distributes malicious material, or violates applicable law or third-party provider rules.

11–14

Security, Suspension, Refunds, and Liability

11. Backups and Security

Red Vision Host may use reasonable operational safeguards and backup practices appropriate to the selected service. No Internet-connected system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, uninterrupted, or free from data loss, and backup results cannot be guaranteed to be complete or perfect in every circumstance.

12. Suspension and Termination

Red Vision Host may suspend or terminate service for nonpayment, unlawful or abusive use, a security risk, material breach of these terms, or where required by law or provider rules. Where practical, Red Vision Host will provide reasonable notice.

13. Refunds

Recurring monthly and annual services are not prorated after cancellation and remain available through the paid term. Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are non-refundable once processed. The initial 50% website-design payment is non-refundable once work on the project has begun, and the remaining 50% is due before launch. No broader refund rule is created by this section.

14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Services are provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Red Vision Host does not make warranties beyond those expressly stated in a written agreement. To the extent permitted by law, Red Vision Host and Red Vision Strategies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15–17

Governing Law, Changes, and Contact

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

16. Changes to These Terms

Red Vision Host may update these terms from time to time. The current version will show its effective date on this page. Continued use of services after an update takes effect is subject to the updated terms.
